Not sure if I can handle yours? Just ask! If your memories are stuck on a device because of missing or unknown cables, I'll figure it out. I'll use whatever cords are needed — and if I have to purchase anything, I cover that cost so you don't have to. I'll get those memories back by any means necessary, with minimal cost on your end.
-
It's simple! I pick up your media, digitize everything, and bring it back to you along with your files on a USB drive, DVD, or via digital download — whichever you prefer. Your originals are always returned safe and sound.
There's no need to dig out an old VCR or projector beforehand — you don't need to preview anything before I pick it up. Once your media is digitized, I'll send you a private digital preview link (usually via YouTube) so you can watch everything and start filling in the details — names, places, events, dates. From there, you'll have up to two drafts to review and request corrections before final delivery, so you can feel confident everything is just right. -
The best way to reach me is by email at info@pghdigitization.com or through the Contact Me page. I'm happy to answer questions, talk through your project, or get a pickup scheduled.
Prefer to talk by phone? Just ask — I'll send you my number and you can call me directly. I keep it off the website to avoid spam calls, so a quick email is all it takes to get it.
-
I come to you! There's no need to travel anywhere — I handle all the running around. Just contact me to schedule a convenient pickup, and I'll return everything once your order is complete.
-
Turnaround time is variable as this is cooperative.
Have a deadline? Let me know and I'll do my best to accommodate you.

I offer several delivery options:
Digital download link (always included free — full quality, no compression — available upon payment)
Scans are archival (large), so you get two copies: a very high-quality version and a smaller, mobile-friendly one.
USB flash drive ($7.50, optional)
Playable DVD ($15 per original disc, $5 per copy)
-
Pricing depends on the type and quantity of media. Here's a breakdown:
Tapes & Film
8mm / Super 8mm film: $12 per min. — $40 per 50 ft. reel (~03:20), captured in 1080p HD
VHS, VHS-C, MiniDV: $15 per hour, $30 per tape (assumes a full 2-hour tape at $0.25/min) — you only pay for the portions that actually have recording on them; blank sections are free
Photos, Negatives & Slides
Volume pricing applies across any combination of the three:$2.25 each for the first 100
$2.00 each for items 101–400
$1.75 each for anything beyond 400
Other
AI Animation (bring a still photo to life): $5 per animation — 1 free animation included for every 50 scans in your order
Playable DVD: $15 per original disc, $5 per copy
USB Flash Drive: $7.50 (optional — full-quality digital download always included free)
Add-Ons
Additional 4K Slideshow: $25 per 100 images — beyond the one included free, a 4K slideshow of your scanned photos, negatives & slides
Additional 4K Carousel Slideshow: $0.20 per slide ($16 per full 80-slide carousel) — beyond the one included free, a simulated slide-projector experience with sound & transitions
PA sales tax (6%) is not included. Use the project calculator on the site for a quick estimate, or just reach out info@pghdigitization.com — no obligation.
A $100 minimum order/deposit is required and is non-refundable. I won’t start digitizing until I receive it. The deposit also covers return delivery if you cancel after we agree that I digitize.
Anything already digitized will be available to download after you pay. Physical copies (DVDs or USB) cost an extra $25 for delivery, since those would otherwise be returned with your media.
All estimates are approximate and are finalized after we digitize your media. Estimates may be lower if your order includes video/film, because you won’t be charged for blank tape or a reasonable amount of black (usually lens cap left on) film (up to 40% of a reel).
-
Absolutely. I treat every item like it's irreplaceable — because it is. Your tapes, films, and photos are handled with care throughout the entire process and returned to you in the same condition I received them.
-
No worries at all! Send me a photo and I'll identify them for you. If you're unsure about anything, just ask — that's what I'm here for.
